Katharine DeBrecht the author of the soon-to-be-released "Help! Mom! There Are Liberals Under My Bed" (Kids Ahead; hardcover: $15.95; ISBN 0976726904) dismisses the notion that parents should not talk to their young kids about politics. So where did this notion about parents not talking to their kids about politics come from? No doubt the liberal left so they can use the public school system to brainwash your kids without interference.

Let's be sure and call Barnes and Noble and place our advance copy order.

Will the NY Times even critique this book? They don't usually critique O'Reilly's books do they? And even if they do, how can we be sure that B&N will even offer it for sale?

A few years ago when the west was on fire and on tv a lot...fast forward a month later, and I'm in the car with my 7 year old driving back from WDW. I was listening to Rush on the radio, and my daughter asked me why so many fires were burning out west, and especially in Arizona (where we used to live). For the next two hours or so, we talked about liberals wanting to save all the trees vs. more responsible controlled burning. We talked about taxes vs. spending and donating our own money. She practiced her spelling by writing down and making a list of all the places we are taxed by the Rats. It was a moment of mother/daughter bonding I shall never forget. Lol!

If it's gonna make money, B&N will sell it.

I love it when conservatives start hitting back using the liberals' own tools. Me too...it's an awful lot of fun!

From pro-socialist stories like "Rainbow Fish"Oh, that story burns my ass. It's a shame too because it's beautifully illustrated and could have been a great book for children. The first time I read it to my oldest daughter she asked me if the Rainbow Fish did the right thing. Needless to say, that taught her better than to ask questions during bedtime stories.

Thanks for that comment. It compelled me to do a quick bit of research on the "Rainbow Fish."
After I finished reading some reviews by other conservatives, I turned to my wife and said, "We're gonna stick with Dr. Seuss."

The announcement of the book caused an uproar among liberal commentators, with many claiming the book teaches children to hate. Said commentators need to take a stroll throught DU.

I almost swallowed my tongue when my five year old son piped up from the back seat, "Did you hear what the President said Mom? If President Clinton said it, it must be a lie, right?"
Bwahahahaha!!
When I was pregnant with him, Rush was on for six hours a day, because I was so sick I was practically in a stupor. : )

At the conclusion of the scene, the muppets are all pleased with the resolution of the problem, and say: "Let's solve our problems the UN way!!" Pass a resolution condemning Israel?
