Americans might not appreciate W as much as they should, but the people of the mid-East surely will. It's not only Afghanistan and Iraq that have a chance at democracy - it's also Lebanon, Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, etc.
Not all of these countries will wind up with a solid democracy, but every one that does will bring us just a bit closer to world peace.

I don't think W was in search of a legacy (like his predecessor was), but he found one by doing what he thought was right. Bless him.
