Today, President Bush met with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani in the Oval Office, and together they had a joint press conference in the East Room of the White House.
This afternoon, President and First Lady Laura Bush left the White House for New York City, where the President will address the United Nations.

I often address my wife as "Baby", my favorite response to her when she asks me how she looks in a new outfit or before she leaves for some meeting or occasion, is ...... "Baby!! You look delicious" :-)

I didn't get home until almost 5:00. I did read the thread though. sounded like Mark was having a good time.
I was listening to KOGO in the car (I think it was Hedgecock) He got so mad at a caller (dem) he told him to just shut up! The caller said that if Bush's daughters were in LA, the response would have been quicker. Hedgecock lost it. It was great!!

that would have been good. Roger was just seeing red. I have never heard him that mad! He had a good three minute rant after he called the caller stupid and told him to shut up!

"To the extent that the federal government didn't fully do its job right, I take responsibility," ,President Bush said. It takes an honest man to say that. The MSM can't spin that in such a way as to fool the people. The people are smarter than that. But I can not imagine Governor Blanco saying "I take responsibility for the extent that the State of Louisiana didn't fully do its job right". They have got to be two tough people, baseballmom. I admire them both more every single day.... I agree. And a man who tries to walk before God has no concern about leaving a "legacy" in this world.

Does it really? I will have to show my wife this thread, not that she doubts me, but it's always nice to show her just how much. When people we haven't met recognize it, it's worth mentioning.
My wife is my best friend, and there is nothing I wouldn't do for her, and I know I'm her best friend. Things don't get much better than that

"They are both in my prayers. I am due to write a note to them as I have not done so in a bit--just to let them know how much they are appreciated. I try and hand write one every once in a while."
I KNOW they appreciate it! . . . The last time I called the WhiteHouse (and I plan to do so again tomorrow) the sweet lady who answered was just sooooooooooooooo appreciative of my POSTIVE expressions of support for the President and his staff (to include her)!!!
