"Scalia also said he would not have assisted in working to see Colorado Amendment 2 overturned."

Really, I hadn't heard that. Do you have a cite?

No. The hapless toad lived it's whole life in California. Hence there was no interstate commerce.

Does this make the hapless toad an illegal immigrant???

Woo Hoo! Love Sessions

Well worth the wait even if my bottom screams in pain having sat far too long in this chair.

Yahoo. Now Sessions is correcting Kennedy's misstatements!

Can anybody give me an update, please? Thankyou!

I can tell you right now that it's Judge Roberts vs an ARMY of dim staffers and dim Senate readers, and that Judge Roberts is beating the everloving crop out of every single one of them.

I sincerely hope that the dims don't know how stupid he is making every single one of them look--as they sit there with those freaking scripts and he sits there with his integrity and his awesome intellect...I sincerely hope the dims keep it up for a couple of weeks. I can visualize them going right down the toilet as they play their stupid gotcha games and fail in the face of his clearly photographic memory and herculean logic.

;-D

[A] judge or a candidate for election or appointment to judicial office shall not … with respect to cases, controversies, or issues that are likely to come before the court, make pledges, promises or commitments that are inconsistent with the impartial performance of the adjudicative duties of the office….”
— ABA Model Code of Judicial Conduct, Canon 5A(3)(d)(ii) (2003), (emphasis added).

When defending the rights of innocent babies, one should consider the Moral Code of God ahead of the "ABA Model Code of Judicial Conduct."

Would Judge Roberts stay mum on his view of murder, since a murder case might come up to the Supreme Court?

Can only give you my conclusion as a conservative sort of conservative. He's doing splendidly. His views are reassuring to our side and his intelligent responses are in bold contrast to the spittle-flecked rantings of the Democrats questioning him.

Sessions is great! he's reintroducing all the issues the dems did, and enabling Roberts to clarify and reconfirm the constitutionality of his previous decisions.

You have no way of knowing how Chief Justice Roberts would have ruled on that case. We only know that Law Firm Partner Roberts had a policy of assisting his partners and associates. If you want to hang the man for that, that's your perogative; but there is no evidence he agreed with the Opinion of the Court.

In fact, he played JUSTICE SCALIA at the moot court hearing. He didn't play Justice Souter.

"Duly Noted" -- Are you the "Judge Judy" of this thread?

Does this make the hapless toad an illegal immigrant???

Nope the hapless toad was born a Californian and died a Californian. He was too broke to move.
