As a gesture of revenge, they decaffinated any Turk they could get their hands on. But they discovered that some of the vanquished had the annoying custom of putting sauce on their Polish sausages, the result was Tartar Sauce...

BTW I had never heard about her before I read this thread and I am sure that neither she nor her parents lived in Poland. I either, but I read that she played Joanna darc.
From wikipedia:
American actress Leelee Sobieski claims to be his descendant. This is certainly not where she obtained her surname: John III had no great-grandchildren that bore the name Sobieski or Sobieska.

She is actually very talented and very cute...but personally (and without being Polish) took offense at her claim of being a descendant of the King...she is a Liberal knuckle head as well as her parents...might be silly but if they were indeed descendants they would have done research into his beliefs when it comes to patriotism and duty and honor and would have tried to follow the same noble life he did!

Thus far you haven't managed to do anything more but use pattern replies, quite puerile as facto! LOL, you mean, quite puerile and ipso facto"
Let's summarize your debate techniques, shall we?
You make up stories which you can't back up, when confronted to prove your specious claims you spin your way out and accuse the other poster of not being able to prove YOUR case.
Since you can't prove your claims that Leelele Sobieski isn't who she said she is after you posted: Oh, please, she was just using one of those lame websites (eg: familytree.com or ancestors.com) where they are using famous European names and they make you think you are related to them -- well... you know that Leelee Sobieski isn't King Sobieski's descendant because she's a stupid liberal and a knuckle head, and so are her parents. Had she been the King's descendant she should have researched the famous King and follow the same noble life he did or at least act more like the King. Thus the way Leelee acts is proof absolute that she is not who she said she is.
Your knowledge of Americans is based on your sister's Polish husband and your nephew's teachers - therefore, the majority of Americans are ignorant" because they don't know where Poland is.
A better example of a nut case I haven't encountered before.

I mean ad facto darling(Ad jus non datur consequentia) and it was a typo (as instead of ad)! You continue with the same asinine comments, "stories which I cannot back up" and accuse me of spinning when actually you have chosen bits and pieces off my posts and interpreted them to fit your ideology. And talking about spinning, I never stated "Americans", I said MOST PEOPLE have problems with US geography, less alone with the world's but then, again, it's what YOU wanted to read instead of what I have stated and it belongs in the Liberal SOP books and not here. This might be your perception of the truth but it doesn't make it reality...darling.

Europe is filled with pissant little countries. A weekend drive in the USA would require traversing numerous national borders in Europe.

Let's get one thing clear once and for all.
I told you this morning that if you were going to post to me, you should back up your claims that Leelee Sobieski isn't who she said she is, or else don't bother wasting my time. You keep posting nonsenses which have nothing to do with the fact that you can't back up your false claims.
I'm not interested in your little games, and I don't come to FR to have fights with someone like you.
