Mark Levin And David Gold Join WBAP-DFW
self

Just wanted fellow freepers to know that WBAP Radio is my new home weekdays. I will continue doing my Saturday and Sunday show for KSFO-San Francisco. For this week my show will run 8-9 PM Central. Beginning next week 8-10 PM.

For many of you the big news here is the addition of "The Great One" Mark Levin. Mark will do 6-8 PM Central. Mark is a friend. It's an honor following his show at WBAP.

WBAP Lineup Mark Davis, Rush, Sean, Levin, Gold

IMHO, that's as good as it gets and a Freeper's "Dream Team."

I called WBAP today and left a voice message to Bob Shomper, congratulating him on his choice(s)...of having both you and Mark Levin...

The receptionist seemed to be glad, also...unfortunately, does this mean that with the Stars playing again, you will be pre-empted a lot?????

Bob Ray is terrible. He will not help your show no matter what you think.

Man, you just opened up a whole new world for me!

I can get the feed for your new station on my pocket pc phone. I thought everyone was using that damned Liquid Compass service which will NOT play on a GPRS enabled phone.

This is *too cool!*

Yes. I will be pre empted by Stars hockey. But, it amounts to 57 nights a year. Not too bad. Remember, I am working seven days a week. That allows me to avoid burnout. Plus I will miss six Sundays on KSFO for Raiders football. I am a huge Stars fan so I get to go to AA Center for a bunch of games when my show is pre empted.:)

Give Bob Ray a break. He's my Allan Colmes.:)

That is good for you...I forgot that you would be working 7 days...

AND, for those of us that are still Stars fans, it will be good to get them back...

Let's see Alan Colmes, Bob Ray Sanders, AC--BRS....hmmmmmm

TOSS UP, IMHO!!! LOL

Speaking of Bob Ray...

Do you know if he has met Mayor Nagin?

I know the Mayor bought a home in Dallas before the hurricane and has been spending a lot of time here.

I would like to know BRS opinion about the ineptness on Mayor Nagin's part....re: the evacuation plan...that supposedly he had practiced last year, during a drill.

BRS may not want to make this a black/white deal...but he has Jesse and Al Sharpton to blame for that...

I'm a rabid Stars fan.....we moved back to Texas the year they won the cup. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! My youngest son can't believe his mom knows more about hockey than he does....and he coaches little ones in floor hockey! LOL

I rarely post here at FR. However, I am part of the NHL ping group. I got all over the Freepers who were talking down the game of hockey during the work stoppage. The NHL buisness and ownership types have their problems, and hopefully they are behind us. However, it's still the best spectator sport there is. That's coming from a rabid fan of all major sports. The NHL after the lockout will be fascinating to watch. Now we just have to sell the sport to the masses.

Now, that would be fun to watch...little ones playing floor hockey!!

It is nuts, how this area has gone crazy for hockey...my goodness, high schools having ice hockey teams in Texas, is amazing.

I will never, ever forget the night they won the cup...my son, his wife and their newborn daughter lived with us, while waiting to close on a house...and my son and I cheered so LOUD...we woke up my granddaughter!!!

My newest granddaughter 6 months already has her Stars outfit!!!

I posted a few time on those threads.....to say I was shouted down would be an understatement! Nothing is better than a Stars home game! I love it! Almost as good as an Okla. State Cowboy football game! Go Pokes!
