Wonder what would happen if I as a common citizen showed up in NO and walked the streets with a shotgun? Is this legal in NO?

Come and listen to a story 'bout a man named Penn
Washed-up career, du'nt know he's a has-been
Out in N.O. he was shootin' like a dude,
Walkin' on the ground through the bubblin' crude
(Water that is, brackish goo, bayou bilge)
Well the next thing you know, young Penn the millionaire's
Kin folk said, Sean, get away from there
Said Californy is the place you oughta be
So they loaded up the crew and went back to Beverly
(Hills that is, swimming pools, movie stars)
Well, now it's time to say goodbye to Penn and all his kin
They would like to thank you folks for lettin' him drop in
Hopin' they're invited back again to this locality
To have a heapin' helpin' of some more publicity.
(Sean, Y'all stay away now, hear?)

Another shocker, Penn has a concealed carry permit. Thohught he was a liberal pacifist gun-grabber
Irrelevant. Last I heard Feinstein had a carry permit too, as do MANY of the high-profile antis. They don't believe that THEY should be disarmed -- it's only the REST of the country that they want to leave to the tender mercies of the criminal class.
Then there's the likes of Very Special folks like Teddy, who, in "gun-free" DC had a slight inconvenience, when his bodyguards were apprehended packing ILLEGAL machineguns!
It was all taken care of, though. "Above the law" means never having to say you're sorry.
And in the humor column, there was hardcore anti-gun columnist Carl Rowan, a resident of "gun-free" DC, who not only hypocritally AND illgally packed a handgun, but, went and SHOT a trespasser, in what would have been a "bad shooting" even IF the REST of the package wasn't illegal as hell (illegal gun, illegally packed in a city where NO handguns are allowed).
Fortunately for Carl, he survived with nothing more than a wrist-slap. And, he continued to rail against the evils of gun ownership.
Here's some comedy material if you ever need it :)

If not a convicted felon, didn't he have a spousal abuse problem, restraining order???
I believe that as a Documented Celebrity, he's immune to such trivialities that are intended for the Little People.

He stuffed bullets into a shotgun? :)

Sean lost his S&W and Glock when he left them in his vehicle
parked near Berkely...unlocked...
Was he on his way to a lunch date with Robert Blake?
To: shekkian
Hey, the NO police are confiscating guns in the area. Did they miss him?
Apparently so, but I hear their aim is improving.

I thought he was blowing the tanks on his one-"man" submarine. :)

Sean Penn has always carried guns. He's famous, so its OK.
I forget, why is he famous. Oh, yes, now I remember, isn't he an actor of some sort. ;)

So that's how those holes got into the bottom of Penn(dejo)'s boat!
