"We did a massive evacuation, and if we hadn't we would have had thousands of deaths. Right now, the numbers are minimal when you consider the amount of damage."
Those "minimal" numbers....how minimal are they to the ones who couldn't get out? I thought Democrats cared about poor people and especially BLACK poor people. I wish black Americans would wake up to which party it is who REALLY keeps them down. Minimal... Disgusting.

the new orleans saints have well thought out plays in their playbooks. they won rather handily yesterday because they executed those plays.
...much to the dismay of gathered reporters who really want desperately for her to rip Bush a new one.
She needs a friend in High Places....but just to be sure she is reworking the paper trail....see link at post #8.
she signed this Executive Order on September 2, 2005. That was Friday.
EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT
EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. KBB 2005 - 25
________________________________________________________________________________
EMERGENCY EVACUATION BY BUSES
Is followed by:
SECTION 8: Executive Order No. KBB 2005-31, issued on August 31, 2005, is hereby rescinded and terminated.
YOU MEAN THE NUMBER 31 DOESN'T COME BEFORE 25? LOL!
Must be southern LA math....eh?
Yep, it had the governor and mayor drinking lattes and notifying the press that it was all Bush's fault.
Pretty blatant!
Good night , must hit the sack, the Roberts hearing starts tomorrow....
Damn that's awesome!
To Blanco: Liar, liar, pants on fire.
They just keep throwing crap at the fan to see what sticks. The Bush crap was not sticking. People were not going to blame Bush for all of this. So now Blanco isn't blaming Bush. They have moved their target to Brown and FEMA. We have to keep on this and make sure that crap doesn't stick either. You know I don't even care if Brown rode in on a horse, this mess is not his fault and FEMA did the best it could with the local and state government failing their job on all counts and actually putting up roadblocks to screw up their efforts like keeping the Red Cross out of the city.
