I don't know a thing about The Daily Mail, but this reads like a tabloid story. Color me skeptical.
This IS a joke, eh? Especially coming from the Limeys. Good Grief!
My thoughts too. I hope we are right.
This Dr knew help was coming, and killed them anyway?
Weird.
It may be. I'm not familiar with the Mail. I just saw what others saw on FNC and looked up the article.
Well, well. Is this an attempt at making euthanasia more palatable, or is it an attempt to blunt criticism of the death toll in those bungled Nagin hellholes?
And how on earth does a "utility manager" end up involved in the medical end of emergency response, anyhow?
When did it became a "basic human right" to die with dignity...and how does being killed by a drug overdose qualify? Do car crash victims die with dignity?
If there is a category award for Most Hysterical Reporting during Hurricane Katrina, there are going to be a lot of contenders.
This is a British Paper. How do they know this when nobody in North America does?
The Daily Mail? That rag? I wouldn't believe anything they printed.
If only hino Schiavo had lived in NO, no telling how much of Terri's money Katrina could have saved him, Felos, and Greer.
I don't believe a word of that story.
I suspect that story is bogus, the kind of thing one could expect from The Daily Mail. But, bogus or not, the Superdome should not be rebuilt. It should be left as it is as a reminder of the revealed nature of 'The Big Easy.'
Looks believable to me..... /sarc
No kidding. However, it should be said that this is one of the few that didn't include the word "failure" in the headline.
This one, though, looks bogus through and through.
As I recall the Daily Mail is a UK analog to National Equirer. You know it is not necessarily the Washington Times or even the New York Post, if you check out its homepage. The lead story on 9-11-05 was a bit on tacky superstar weddings.
As far as I can see this is not a paper that will let facts interfer with a good story.
I dont believe it because a Doctor or nurse could be prosecuted or sued for this....
