It is far worse than disarming. I heard a first hand account where a black brother and sister were ordered out. They gathered what they thought important..... drivers license, SS cards all their money and put it in a plastic bag with spare clothing. They traipsed through the water and on emerging had the bag confiscated. The bag and contents including soggy money was said to be contaminated and disallowed in the evac processing areas and plane.

They arrived here with nothing, no ID, no money.

While you say first hand - do you have names, location and time on this? If true it is an absolute outrage!

This has gone well beyong politics. What we have here is a a huge catrosphe with an mind boggling mix of heroism, courage and sacrifice; right along side unlelievable inertia, stupidity and incompetence.

I thought the adults had taken charge, but I'm starting to wonder. I hope they got a receipt for their contaminated property.

By that reason, the people should have been disallowed (not that I agree with this). Come on, people! We have decontaminants!
