I don't know. Something more....heroic....something (a lot) less generic. I mean I look at this and it doesn't tell me anything about what's being memorialized.

Amen.

I would have white stones marking the sacred ground, a building with one room containing walls with the faces of the heroes and a brief biography for each of them. Another room would contain wax figures reenacting the events aboard 93 and on the ground, including the decision to down 93 if necessary. There would be kiosks (with the families' blessing) containing taped recordings/reenactments of the last words spoken between the heroes and their family. Antoher room would present a worst case scenario ie "what would happen had 93 crashed into the capitol" with real life testimonies, more wax figures, fictional broadcasts, timelines, and casualties list.

In front of the building would be a large plaque inscribed with patriotic images of american flags, the capitol, the fight for the cockpit, etc. Below the relief would be excerpts from Pres. Bush's sept 20 SOTU address and ending with the "Let's Roll" phrase. On top of it would be a fusion between a bald eagle and flight 93 soaring straight into heaven. To the left and right, flags of all the states (and/or countries) that have people on board 93. Behind the plaque would be the american flag.

What do you think?
