I swear to God, if they get anywhere near that amount, I'm playing Atlas Shrugged and will just quit working and paying taxes myself.
Might be a good time to start thinking of retirement. Get down into a much lower tax bracket.
I think that the estimates are that the Feds are spending $200,000 per evacuee at this present moment. $20,000 is a pittance compared to this.
