Douglas Brinkley was with him, and now I see why. Sean had the foresight to take a "historian" with him.
No doubt Brinkley will now write a book glorifying Penn, much like his abysmal book about John F. Kerry. By the time he's done, Sean Penn will be transformed into a larger-than-life hero.

you're absolutely right. fine, he went down there but when you go with a photographer and an historian, hmm, i wonder WHY you are going.
is it about the people or is it about himself? and whose fault is it the national guard wasn't in there yet.

And when Penn runs for president, they'll have to go back and reprint the book to fix all the 'errors' that are pointed out by people that on other rescue boats in the NO area. :)
