So I heard...they are now direct depositing the funds into people's bank accounts. The issue here is not the funds but the people, what would stop them from using those funds in getting the same luxury items instead of what they need? Do you think that the Coach stores will say NO to cash or bank ATM/Visa cards? They'll misuse the funds regardless on how they are being paid.
Once I found out that the DC "refugees" teamed up with moveon.org, to march on the White House, ALL donations were discontinued from this household.
