Once I found out that the DC "refugees" teamed up with moveon.org, to march on the White House, ALL donations were discontinued from this household.
Do like I did. My giving has been funneled into Church relief organizations which by and large have been helping in Alabama and Mississippi. There's not a lot of looting and trouble there and they certainly need the help. An added benefit is nearly 100% of the funds are used for the benefit of victims, not bureaucracy.
