Some in the black community are beginning to question what happened to the black leadership during the Hurricane Katrina disaster, especially in the city of New Orleans.
While a few black leaders, including the Rev. Jesse Jackson, the Rev. Al Sharpton and the Congressional Black Caucus, have singled out the president for blame, others say Mayor C. Ray Nagin, who is black, is responsible for the dismal response to the flooding that stranded thousands in the city's poorest sections.

What? Black people being informed and making their own decisions? The RATS can't have this.

"The truth is, black people died not because of President Bush or racism, they died because of their unhealthy dependence on the government and the incompetence of Mayor Ray Nagin and Governor Kathleen Blanco," he said. "

The hurting is about to begin. The Democrat response of circling the wagons around their guilty parties is going to lose them a lot of support.
Time for the GOP to swoop in and fix things and maybe even win them over.

"Julian Bond, chairman of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, said there is plenty of blame for all governments -- local, state and federal."
Hey Julian...if the city and state had done their job, there would be no major problems left. You puke!

He took a second hit when an Associated Press photo showed 2,000 school buses under water and parked in a lot, unused in the evacuation. Reports say those buses could have ferried thousands of residents to safety outside New Orleans had they been deployed I think that number is too high. That would mean that 100,000 people could be evacuated in one trip. The estimates I've seen was that there were 200-400 buses that were drowned.

Let's go up the "chain of command".
Can't blame the black Mayor or you're a racist.
Can't blame the female Governor or you're a sexist.
As we travel up the chain of command, viola! We
begin to find someone we can blame without being
accused of anything.. White Males!!!
That's it! You're done.
Kinda reminiscent of what happens in the workplace

"Rep. Charles B. Rangel, New York Democrat, put the blame on Mr. Bush and his record as commander in chief." This article doesn't say it, but we know what they (the black leadership) mean and try to get the undereducated masses to believe:

There is about 1,600 school buses in Miam-Dade County, would it not be realistic to think there would at least be a fleet of 1,000 in Nawlings plus the city transit bus system!??!

Guess they seem to have forgotten that alot of their voters are white.

Doesn't matter, the point is the same. Except that someone might try to totally discredit the story by pointing out a number of buses that is several times higher than the real total. You know how the MSM can blow up one point all out of proportion in order to deflect attention to the real story. The Washington Times should have gotten the real number from the school district. With the number of buses they had, a few round trips to other cities would have gotten everone out if the evacuation orders had been given 48 hours ahead of land fall.
