I'm with you SDGOP.
My first impression was this was a big dig at leftists and their utterly moonbat mentality.
The fact that the cartoonist went out of his way to note "The Left" on the character who is speaking utter nonsense makes me think this was directed at left wing Dumbocrat lunacy.

Maybe I'm off here but to me the cartoon seems to be a making fun of what the left is saying?I agree -- seems that way to me, also. I would be offended except for that "The Left" sign under the female character's arm.

Mayybe i'm off here but to me the cartoon seems to be a making fun of what the left is saying? You know, you're right. I was so angry after reading the caption that I didn't even see the label on her purse. It's like somebody not putting the /sarcasm on a FR post and getting flamed.

yeah I just caught the text on her purse.

I agree. Art can be interpeted differently, it takes one photo to have two meanings based upon one's outlook.
If you notice, it appears the man is wearing a t-shirt that has an American Flag on it and is taking a positive view of the event (that we are saving a person's life), while the nasty looking woman with the "left" on her handbag is thinking negative and ugly (that we are drowning a black person).
I think it is a shot against the Left, not the other way around.

That's how it strikes me.

I haven't read any of the other posts. But, it looks the same to me. It seems like it is showing the sheer blind hatred that the left has for this country that they see everything backwards from the truth even when it is right in front of them.

I look at the cartoon as ridiculing the left for interpreting everything done by the GOP as racist, even when the opposite is the case. But I don't know the cartoonist, so I could be wrong.... again.
To: SDGOP
That's exactly what I thought. The lady's bag does say "The Left."
