The lab was out for a swim and some man, out of nowhere, almost drowned the poor dog when he grabbed on and held on for dear life... ;-)

Now THAT is a friendly Lab!
Love the way her entire hind end wags when she wags her tail. And when she's "interviewed," she kisses and cuddles the reporter, and tucks her head into his elbow while he's talking to the camera. Adorable!
She looks like she's somebody's field dog - got that lean alert look and the long body. Pretty girl!

The lab was out for a swim and some man, out of nowhere, almost drowned the poor dog when he grabbed on and held on for dear life... ;-)
And then the dog went back home to protect the property and these reporters showed up and forced the dog into the back of a car under the guise of rescuing it, probably following that forced evacuation order... ;-)
It was a great story, a cute dog, and a great break from the devastation.

Labradors are great dogs. I don't know why people bother with any other kind of dog. Then again - they probably say the same about their own favorite breeds.

Good dog, indeed!
I used to have a huge Ol' Black Lab from Nebraska..
and an awful rooster that used to torment him..
God they were funny..
I miss that Ol' Dawg..
He was a gentle giant..

It is sweet how the reporter keeps calling her the nicest dog in the world. I don't know about calling her Katrina though.
