Today was day 1 at the reliant Arena. I thought there was going to be a bad element there. Where I could trust no one. The people there were nicer than some people that live here. I was surprised when I saw kids with smiles on there faces just because of the free little teddy bear. When they have nothing else to play with. Most of my job is listening to peoples story's. Which was in some cases was difficult to do. I hope them having someone listening to there story makes there day a little better. The smallest thing could change these people's life's.
Day 2
I arrived at Reliant Center today at about 9 am. After I signed in with the company I am working with they sent us to the Astrodome for family reunification. On the way to the entrance I was expecting the usual pat down. When we got to the entrance the security told there were not letting anyone in without a volunteer armband. We then had to turn around and walk back to where we originally signed in and stand in line for said armband. It took us the better part of an hour to get the band and get into the dome. After finally getting to our designated work area it was my neighbor who had to train me because we were so short handed on account of the lock down. While we were working there was a rumor the President Bush was going to visit. While getting up to get some fresh air I noticed a lot of military personal around. I asked on of the soldiers why the Dome was one lockdown but he would not give me a straight answer.
You can say that again!!
Add me.
Dang, I'm all hammered up and seeing double and it ain't even 1830 hrs yet.
Triple Brother, triple.

Ah Shut Shut Shut up
