That scene was stolen and pirated out to the web for a week or so. I missed it, but many people saw it. Did you?

You forgot Toy Story 2, probably the best sequel ever, and Star Trek 2, which is the way all the Trek movies SHOULD have been done.

I actually thought Godfather 2 was better then the original.
It depends on the movie and the sequel, most sequels are worse (hence why we dare not say the name of the sequal to Godfather 2), Rambo 2 is one of my favorite sequels, personally, I like pre-planned, pre-written trilogies.

Reminds me of the spiderman movie: right before 9/11 they were showing trailers in which Spidey stops a helicopter with a web spun between the twin towers. They pulled the trailer and edited out the scene.I'm pretty sure -- though not positive -- that scene was never intended to be in the movie. For big-budget movies, the studios often hire a separate crew or production house to produce the early "teaser" trailers, sometimes using outtakes from the film, and sometimes shooting their own material.

Didn't they care what would happen to all those fictional, poor, black residents?Actually, in the movie version, the 9th ward was inhabited by a bunch of wealthy German Neo-Nazi Republicans.

In the rock band I'm in, we're playing a song called "New Orleans is Sinking", by the Canadian group 'The Tragically Hip'. Practiced it last night; it sounded good.
