Just because you have more material wealth and financial means than these people doesn't make them bad people.

Spend some time hanging around the projects and you would know what I am talking about. There is a reason many of these folks have lived on the public teat since the 1960s. It has nothing to do with situational poverty or oppression. It has to do with culture and lifestyle choices.

I understand the generational curse of welfare many of those stricken have never been able to break themselves free from.
What I detest is making light of the suffering they are going through now.
It is inexcusable.

"This is just an act of solidarity between two peoples who are brothers," If they really believe this (they don't), they should be ordering several million of their countrymen to return home to take some strain off American taxpayers. Mexico's aims are so obviously transparent that it would be laughable if it wasn't so serious.

Huevos ahogados
Huevos rancheros
Choice of Dos X or Corona beer Sounds good to me! But if the convoy came from central Mexico, it's an odd menue.

Too little, too late. Not really. There are people in MS that still desperately need equipment and personnel to run it. They need all they can get. At this point they don't care from whom it comes. Oh, and by the way, there are still convoys upon convoys of trucks both civilian and military flooding in to MS.

Uh, the problems at the Astrodome had NOTHING TO DO with illegals. Evidently you are so obsessed with the issue (which is a good issue to be obessesed about by the way) to the point that you ignore the fact that it is our native born leeches that are causing the problems at the Astrodome.

BTW: With all of those illegals in Louisana, you would expect to see them rioting. The folks rioting on TV didn't exactly look like they came from El Salvador or Mexico.

It's from the song
Guantaramera Yo soy un hombre sincero
De donde crecen las palmas
Yo soy un hombre sincero
De donde crecen las palmas
Y antes de morirme quiero
Echar mis versos del alma
Roughly, it means "I'm a sincere man, from where the palms grow. Before I die, I will make the verses of my soul"

Carrying water treatment plants, mobile kitchens and supplies to feed victims of Hurricane Katrina, the (Mexican) army convoy bound for Houston will be the first Mexican military unit to operate on U.S. soil since 1846.
Beavis: So, like, does that mean all these dudes are coming from Mexico?
Butthead: Yeah. Maybe they'll bring some fireworks on that con-doy thingy.
Beavis: It's like, all of them come here to work anyways. Why not bring a few M-80s on the way up? I'm just sayin'....it'd be cool. Y'know, like because they wanna be gardners, and, so uh...
Butthead: Uh, this is usually the part where I tell to you to shut up.
