my first freep was with the dc chapter and it was a great experience... a double entendre freep... but when soldiers come across the street and salute us for being there for them, it brings tears... they are immediately thanked sincerely for their service and sacrifice and though i am 130 miles downstream, i will make it back to wrmc soon...

it is well worth the trip...

especially since haliburton gas is so cheap...

Done and it was worth it!

Boy did you get upset when they "touched" Tacoma! I was across the street and knew something was happening...but not to this extent!

Bill's reports are excellent. It's a great experience to be there in person to thank the soldiers who stop by. They constantly say our presence is important. So many of the wounded troops' family and friends pass WR and they shouldn't have to see nasty pinkos belittling our troops outside a military hospital.

I urge everyone who can to please come to the FReep if you can.
