Just got back from viewing "The Flight That Fought Back" (Disc. channel, 9/11, 9:00pm EDT)

God Bless your dad and your family. Right after 9/11, I couldn't sleep, (as most people couldn't), and spent many hours on FRee Republic, and watching the news. I was so scared (like everybody), didn't know what was going to happen.

I remember reading the first posts here about Flight 93- that your dad, and the others fought back, fought the terrorists. It lifted my spirits to read it. That was the first moment, I knew we were going to be ok, that we would get through whatever the terrorists threw at us.

God Bless your dad, your family, all the people, and their families, on flight 93 for being an inspiration to us, in our nations darkest hours.

Prayers for all who lost love d ones on 9/11. Prayers for our nation, that we have the will to continue the fight against terror. Amen

Yes, absolutely. What an excellent film. It covers everything, well done. It should have been on the main stream channels in prime time. They haven't had one thing about 9/11. Disgusting.

I only have one small criticism- having commentary from Tom Brokaw- I still remember he and the rest of the talking heads trying to make a horrible situation even worse, by attacking president Bush.

Capt. Jason Dahl and i are from the same neighborhood... the elementary school i attended is now named after him... it's still so heartbreaking... and i'm glad the sorrow has not passed... i hope it never passes...

Chris, I just got through watching this, and I cried tear's of sorrow, and also had such a feeling of great pride, in seeing how these 40 people took control. They all showed great courage and spirit. May God Bless you, and all the families of these wonderful and couragious men and women.

Yes. We watched it, but now I am outraged by the giant red-crescent of Islam memorial that they are raising money for. I will stop it if its the last thing I do.

A few thoughts and a question, Chris. First of all God bless you and your dad and your entire family. This war was effectively over the moment the general militia of FLT 93 reported for duty, such is the spirit of America.

Is there any truth to the reports I have seen that the memorial is shaped in a giant Islamic CRESCENT? If that is the truth I would fight tooth and nail against this outrageous symbol of appeasement.

I did see the movie and speaking as an educator of high school American History and American Government, I personally intend to purchase the DVD from Discovery channel and show it to my classes, so that can recognize that the face of the enemy does not look like President Bush! I teach in the inner city and they are constantly saying that the tragedy on 911 was Bush's fault. Wonder where they get that nonsense? Other teachers (liberals of course); parents and of all things...church!

I tivo'ed the show and watched it last night. I cried like a baby... and I am a 33 yr old grown man. I think the Discovery Channel did a good job with what they had.

This should be seen by every American so that we will never, ever forget what happened. Every school should show this every 9/11.
