Grease-stricken An oily dog wanders the streets of Chalmette, La., as crews clean up the mess created by a ruptured refinery tank.

Update: After numerous calls and e-mails from people wanting to adopt the dog, Dallas Morning News photographers located it again and called the Hurricane Katrina Animal Rescue Hotline, which dispatched an animal control specialist to rescue it.
