Why would the Gov. (represented by her husband) want to prevent people from going back to their homes?
I think Jeff parish is anticipating being the new center of NO. I hear hi rollers are in NO buying up land. My guess is the Gov doesn't want the citizens of Jeff parish having much say in how the NO spoils are divided.
Jeff Parish voted for David Duke rather than Edwin Edwards who was the king of the dem machine. Lots of pubs in Jeff parish, just dying to get in and have a say.
