Families of the 7 July suicide bombers should be allowed to attend the national memorial service for the victims, according to London's mayor.
Ken Livingstone said they should not be turned away from the 1 November mass at St Paul's Cathedral for the 52 victims.
The event is billed as a service for those who died and a tribute to police, firefighters and paramedics.
Brian Coleman, the Tory deputy chairman of the London Assembly, labelled the idea of bombers' families attending as "political correctness gone mad", adding: "You wouldn't invite a murderer's family to the victim's funeral."

"You wouldn't invite a murderer's family to the victim's funeral."
Apparently, he is wrong!
"political correctness gone mad",
Again.
Invite the bombers families to the memorial and give kanes to each of the other attendees.
Let the mourners beat the families to death.
Serves two purposes, It punishes families for raising such scum. It stands as a warning to the next small minded punk that cares to go blow up people.
Ken Livingstone is England's answer to Ray Nagin.
INSANE!!!!
Should the families be punished for the sins of the sons? No. On the other hand, no way should the familes of the murderers be allowed to be at any memorial service for the victems. Too much emotion and anger, it would be just plain stupid.
No kidding
I second that!
Makes sense, should be done, needs to be done, won't be done.
These pieces of human debris did not grow up in a vacuum. Their greasy, slimy, fecal worshiping mothers, squirted out more crap that the world has to deal with. The world needs to be rid of the cancer called islime.

Agree entirely. I just can't see who this would possibly be of benefit to. I suspect it's slightly hypothetical as I can't believe anyone would want to attend a memorial service in those circumstances.
Of course they should not be turned away, unless they try to use it as a political forum. But they also should not be invited and should have the good taste to stay away.
WTF is right!
That commie mayor is a real piece of work. *sigh*
Hang 'em High ~ Bump!
A well know, left wing, socialist, terrorist sympathizer.
Mrs VS
I thought muzleems weren't allowed into other churches.
WHY would they want to attend this service? Will they be wearing bombs to blow up everyone who was missed in the first bombing? This is not sarcasm.
Dear me... Mr. Livingston forgot to take his meds again. First of all, why would the bomber's relatives want to attend a service for westerners? Second, the church service is for the 'infidels'. I would think they would either be embarrassed to show their faces or they would disrupt the service in some fashion. Third, muslims are not allowed to go into Christian churches. If I were a family member of the victims, I would be outraged at this.
