Approve 47% Disapprove 43%

Note to all polling junkies. Notice the difference here from what you get when you ask anyone with a pulse(news media polls) and you ask either registered or likely voters. Could it be they switched to the "Anyone with a pulse" because that is a 3-5 point move in the direction they WANTED the story to move? Must really, really tick them off that they used that standard and STILL got a pro Bush result on the Hurricane polls.

the other interesting poll number is how far Harris is behind. I knew she had no chance at Nelson.

Looks like our '08 motto is going to be "Support Rudy or end up With Hillary." ;)

George W. Bush was already a strong, visible contender by September, 1997. I have no confidence at this point that any other Republican figure will emerge as a credible candidate. Unless Cheney changes his mind, it's going to be Rudy vs. McCain, with a solid minority favoring Jeb (who won't run).

The President will no doubt keep these numbers in mind when choosing a Justice for the SCOTUS.

Bill Nelson 47% Katherine Harris 38% Undecided 15%

A nine point deficit against an incumbent that's under 50% more than a year before the election is insurmountable?

Katherine Harris is NOT a popular candidate in Florida. I live in florida and can assure you that she will not win. Tommy Franks should run. Her numbers in the I-4 corridor are very bad.

Harris gives off a very bad perception of arrogance with an elitist attitude. Although i will vote for her if she is the GOP candidate, i still think her chances to win are slim to none.

Good motto for the liberal sycophants.

But not for conservatives.
