Make no mistake. Summer is over for America -- and George Bush. That unifying image of Bush atop the pile of debris in Lower Manhattan days after Sept. 11 has been displaced by ugly accusations and recriminations over who lost New Orleans. Katrina has exposed the limits of federal power and the absence of a serious set of national priorities.
In New Orleans, those who relied on government -- the New Orleans police, the mayor, Gov. Blanco, FEMA -- suffered most. Those who relied on themselves for food, water and safety from marauding mobs of rapists and looters, with guns in their homes, fared best. Ultimately, U.S. and National Guard troops had to provide the security before government agencies and volunteers could do their rescue work.

Sorry, your Commie diversionary tactics are getting stale. Try something else.
Makes more sense that all that empty GOP rhetoric.

Very good.......I'd also add to that a few of the planks from the Communist Manifesto, especially the ones about "fedgov control over public education" and the need for a central bank ala the Federal Reserve which is neither federal nor a reserve.....(gee, according to our Const. isn't Congress supposed to coin money?). Additionally, it provides for a "progressive income tax" as well as fedgov control of communications, transportation, etc. Somewhere Karl Marx is having a good laugh......on us and the alleged conservative movement.
People in England treated Winston Churchill the same way between the two world wars.
If Pat was president in 1940, Churchill would have been hung in Berlin in '44.
Sadly, it appears that eskimo's long tenure here has not served as an effective substitute for critical thinking or grasping reality.
Sure beats most of the stuff I've read from the RINO's suffering from rectal/crainial inversion.

Yeah, thats as good an explanation as any. Nimrod Petty Boy Floyd has returned after being banned under another nic and eskimo is a sleeper who pokes his head out to bash Jews.
As another long-time FReeper named Lazmataz once said, I proudly post without reading the articles. I do that on David Duke, Helen Thomas and Pat Buchanan articles. They simply don't deserve my attention, but it is great fun to exacerbate the animals who think he's a legitimate conservative.
That's what I asked in #90.

Yeah, I saw that and stole it from you rdb. Should have credited you.
Nope, never been banned. Sorry.
So are you anti-Christian, and are you a neo-Trotsky-con? If so, you are a Communist, and thus anti-American, even though you probably aren't intelligent enough to even realize it.

No, but that's a good one.
Notice those who keep using the Goebbel's big lie treatment on Pat never quote Pat's exact words and source so that words can be verified. When there is no comment about the words that are in front of us, readers have to take their propaganda with a grain of salt.
Did you not see #41 on this same thread?

On Patrick Buchanan and anti-Semitism
"As a Jew, I never felt any hostility from Buchanan on that score, never heard him make a disparaging remark about Jews, never noticed any difference in the way he treats Jews and non-Jews,"
-Michael Kinsley, co-host of CNN's "Crossfire"
"Even after the Rosenthal column, nobody responsible in the Republican Party said, 'Yes, Pat Buchanan is an anti-Semite.' They didn't join in. Very few journalists joined in. What happened was, when he entered the presidential politics, then he entered a new level of criticism and attack on him."
-Robert Novak, syndicated columnist
"I've known [Pat] now for twenty-five years. We have agreed on almost nothing, starting with Richard Nixon . . , there's not a scintilla of evidence in all I've known about Pat that he is anti-Semitic . . , This is an attempt to say that if you disagree with Israel on a matter of policy, you can be called anti-Semitic..."
-Jack Germond, Baltimore Sun columnist
"No true Christian can carry within his heart hatred for any of God's children . . . I am as aware as any other Christian that our Savior was Jewish, His mother was Jewish. The Apostles were Jewish. The first martyrs were Jewish...So no true Christian, in my judgment, can be an anti-Semite."
- Pat Buchanan, comment to a Christian magazine, 1992
