When a mandatory evacuation is called (which should have been done 48 hours sooner than it was) ALL available lanes should be opened to outbound traffic.

My family has lived in South Florida for 45 years and my brother has a condo in Key Largo. After the 1935 Labor Day Hurricane that literally wiped Islamorada off the map, NOBODY stays in the Florida Keys during a hurricane.
