Oh yeah, I forget, that there are people who use Apples who aren't flaming hippies, who think they are changing the world just because they are Apple users. Sorry about that!
I need to get out of California!

Lee is deliberately and with malice aforethought doing everything in his power to harm Microsoft. His remarks about Gates' supposed comments about the Chinese people are the height of disloyalty and skullduggery.
A man of his character is to be regarded with deep suspicion. Google beware.

May China smash the patent system and flood the world with new ideas! Unfortunately, there are no "new ideas" or innovation that comes out of China. Just copy, copy, copy!

Any accessory for an iPod is $30, no matter how simple or trivial it is. Yes, Apple gear always costs more. But it works, out of the box, guaranteed, first time. You don't have to call Bangalore and argue about drivers and versions all day. That's why everyone bought an iPod when they wanted an MP3 player.

Unfortunately, there are no "new ideas" or innovation that comes out of China. Just copy, copy, copy! Like the Lenovo laptops that will continue to be best sellers, even now that they will no longer be called "ThinkPad"? Like the pebble-bed nuclear reactor that can be mass-produced? Chinese "copies" are about to change our lives in a number of unexpected ways.
And give me copy, copy, copy any day over sue, sue, sue!

Gates yelled at him and said the company had been "f-----" by the Chinese people and its government. What goes aroud, comes around.

But it works, out of the box, guaranteed, first time. That's why the Apple Store sells refurbished items, right?
And what's to work or not to work about a $30 piece of elastic that they call an armband?

There are quite a few people and companies here in Singapore with an eye on the Chinese market. The Singapore government wasted a few hundred million in a boondoggle called Suzhou.
Sometimes they ask me what I think. My answer - "The only way to make money out of China is to sell opium".
Doesn't make me popular. But so far I've been proven right.

That's why the Apple Store sells refurbished items, right? Exactly. While your Dell Virusbox will have a resale value of snakespit from the first time you use it, Apple gear tends to hold its value until it gets obsoleted by newer technology.

I'm starting to think this Kai-Fu Lee guy is a ChiCom mole first sent to sabotage Microsoft and now to do the same to Google.

YOU SAID..."May China smash the patent system and flood the world with new ideas! Let business profit flow to those who move the fastest, not those who wall off their ideas from the world."
Ahh yes...just like a teenage paperback romance novel.
An Asian Fabio clone on the cover...playing a dashing and handsome Chinese software pirate. Our hero, is busily smashing any semblance of IP order and protection, while also destroying the lifeblood of small technical startups...and is locked in a torrid embrace with Ayn Rand.
Dream on...

Yes, yes you do. However, I'm not an Apple user--if it weren't for my classes requiring some software that doesn't run on OS X, I'd be typing this from a PowerBook right now. Ah well, there's always next year, when the Intel-based Macs come out...
