Wexler has one of the safest Democratic districts in the country. It stretches from Tamarac and Coral Springs all the way up to West Palm Beach, with its core in Boca Raton. It is referred to by some as the "bagel belt" due to the large, secular Jewish population transplanted from the Northeast. Wexler isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I know. I didn't realize Wexler (who I have watched with distaste for years) was going to be my very own rep til I looked after we moved! Imagine my horror! Oh well, at least now I can write him emails. And tell my liberal neighbors how awful the rest of the country thinks he is (and how stupid we thought the folks who voted him had to be--probably doesn't make me very popular!) :)
