Every justice on the Supreme Court issued a statement praising William Rehnquist, except Souter.
Methinks Souter has a grudge against the Cheif.

I hope when Roberts is CJ, and Souter's boss, that he assigns Souter the crummy jobs around the courthouse (i.e. emptying the trashcans of the other Justices).
If so, how petty and petulant of him. What a small man.
Could it be possible that Rehnquist and Souter had a falling out over the Texas sodomy case. Maybe Rehnquist told Souter that he should recuse himself from the case since Souder is such an ardent practitioner.
A long time ago Souter asked to see the Chief's "briefs" and he refused. Those Dems, always gracious in grieving (see Paul Wellstone)
