...which is why they were WALKING away from the building?
Let's see... there's feds out front, you can walk to the shelter, but you shoot at a 'copter because you want door to door service. Yup, those Air America dudes have it all figured out...
If an AH-64 Apache gunship had been escorting the rescue helicopter Mr. Bailey would now be a crispy critter.
Aw, please, let's not encourage them. Do you know how long it has taken to get them to not do this to everybody they encounter?
How do you know that? Mental diseases-- such as untreated paranoia and dementia-- are nothing like your garden-variety depressions.
Perhaps he is just evil, but all logic says otherwise. Even an evil person in his right mind wouldn't think shooting a hand gun in the direction of a helicopter would have any effect other that getting himself locked in jail.
"Why arrest him? There was martial law. They should have just put a few holes in him.
Would putting panties on his head be a violation of his civil rights?
He was high on stolen pharmaceuticals? JAWAG
Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Nobody pointed this out before. Of course when it ends, all chickens come back to roost right???
Lemme guess, Saline Dijon (Celine Dione) is one of their (Air America) hostesses.

Which proves that they don't know when to use lethal force and when to refrain.
True. I get a little expeditious about these matters. An idiot firing at a relief helicopter, then costing the taxpayers more money being tried, then hopefully convicted, and incarcerated seems like such a waste of resources.
March him face first into the tail rotor...
I am astounded to discover Air America can read minds and know with certainty the intentions of the shooters in New Orleans. This is an amazing ability!
How is it that they got stuck in a dead end operation like Air America? You know, being mind readers and all.
