It is particularly telling that signs of desperation are appearing as proof that the governor of Louisiana and Mayor of New Orleans acted properly in requesting Federal help and facilitating evacuations, has emerged on scene, effectively stomping out the week-long attempt to put the blame for federal mishaps on local shoulders.
Finally, regarding your challenge to “bring it on,” you may wish to choose different language. Although you undoubtedly ejaculated in your trousers the last time a Republican used “bring it on” language, it hasn’t worked out too well so far. That said, rest assured that we’re brining it – someone has to restore genuine leadership to this country if we are to recapture the greatness that has been lost over the past five years.
