Commute inland on a rail system.
Inland where, how far? How do these people get established, who pays for the upgraded rail facilities? How do they get people from the rail station to where they work, or to the restaurants, gas stations, bus stations, that support the workers, etc...What about emergency personnel, do they live far inland?
My BF is a Loss Verifier for SBA and is heading for MS next week. He's hoping that he'll be housed on one of those cruise ships.
