This is kind of interesting; we've been hearing rumors about this since the middle of last week, including the interview with comedian Steve Harvey, but thought they were just wild speculation. Of course, you can also hear rumors about the levees being intentionally dynamited by "de gub'mint."

Dammit. Bush should have been there to tie that thing up! Think of all of the deaths he caused.

It was no doubt a HALIBURTON owned barge!!
To: Chi-townChief
I thought they said it eroded underneath, once that happened the rest collapsed.
To: Chi-townChief
It wasn't a barge...

It was DeBarge.

If the barge breached the floodwall, it should still be there. I don't see no stinkin' barge...

It was a drainage canal as I understand it. Are there any barges on that type of canal?

If the barge breached the floodwall, it should still be there. Word was they were empty grain barges, and it wasn't a floodwall, but one of the levees. If that was the case, the impact probably tore big enough holes that both of them sank. It happens.

Blanco = why did she even bother cashing her paycheck since she can't lift a finger (or brain cell) to do her job?
Nagin= can't admit that he didn't figure that the levy would break so OF COURSE it was fine not to evacuate and send all of the poor people to the Superdome. Managed to get his peeps on the buses before the regular, victimized folks.
Jackassery aplenty. Do the people of NO really want to keep these useless drains on human life (literally) in public office?

Could have been the little known Presidential barge, Barge-One. Did it have the Prez's Seal on it? I think Cheney has a barge pilot license. It all fits. /sarc
