They're just a bunch of ex-hippies or hippie wannabes trying to bring back the glory days of "peace/love/dope".

These nincompoops are always staging a protest every Friday night in the town square of DeKalb, Illinois. Even though it's the home of Northern Illinois University and its 25,000 students, they can never get more than a half a dozen protesters to help them bang bongos and carry "No Blood For Oil" signs.

I drive by it every Friday and stop at the intersection and make a comment to the 60 year old protesters standing there. Last week I asked the guy closest to my car "How come you guys weren't out here protesting when President Clinton was killing tens of thousands of people in Kosovo to get rid of Slobodon Melosevic?".

He just ignored me. I guess they're either not too big on "discussion" of ideas or it makes them uncomfortable being reminded of their hypocrisy.

I agree about them wanting to bring back the glory days of "no responsibility".

I wonder how many of those "no blood for oil" protesters are reviewing their positions on that issue right now....
