Like you I'm tired of have the ratmedia always asking how the Republicans will get out of this or that "problem" that they created out of thin air. The rats are the ones that are in trouble, not us.

Good points.

Lt. General Blum says that 2/3's of the New Orleans police either walked off the job or never showed up after the hurricane.

Maybe the Dims could sponser some more anti-gun legislation. That always seems to cheer them up!

Yes. The last thing the Dems really have going for them is the MSM. But it is losing power quickly. Recently I quit my daily paper (still take it Sundays for the coupons) last week a man came to the door and offered to give me the daily for free. I said "no thanks, you can save the trees, I have the internet". He laughed and said that's what lots of people were telling him.

The media monopoly is over!

"Watch for old media efforts to make the nominee Edith Clement because she is from Louisiana. Of course what they will not say is that Judge Clement is not the most conservative person Mr. Bush can find."

That's not necessarily the case. Edith Clements is a member in good standing of The Federalist Society, not known for its liberalism, and her chief supporter in the Senate is David Vitter of Louisiana, who's as conservative as they come. Edith Clements is not a RINO, and she would definitely be an improvement over O'Conner.

It is my theory, when the history of the Democrat party is written, a major cause for their demise will be the fact that the Main Stream Media supported them, unconditionally.

Think about if for a minute. We all do stupid things in our lives, but seldom on a daily basis, and certainly not on a continuous basis, but there are some in our society that do. Why is that you may ask? Simple, if I do something stupid, I have someone near and dear to slap me upside the head and ask "what do you think you are doing"?

Celebrities, sports figures, and Democrats are surrounded by those that only tell them what they want to hear. There are no check or balance to pull them back to reality.

Republicans are more honest (not because they are inherently more honest) but because they know they will pay a price for anything stupid they do. The Republicans are treated the way all politicians should be treated, that is kept on a short list, and their faults and mistakes broadcast to the world.

But when the MSM decided they would become the communication arm for the DNC, they set themselves up for oblivion.

Who believes anything they have to say anymore? So their effectiveness as a mouthpiece for the DNC has declined along with their ability to demonize Republicans.

If anyone is to be blamed for what occurred in New Orleans, perhaps it should be the old style media, they knew about the corruption in New Orleans, and knew about the incompetence of the Mayor, local police and the Governor, but have given them a pass, since they were Democrats.

The media is to blame for allowing the left wing take over the DNC and to set the agenda that can do nothing but turn off middle America.

The media is to blame for allowing what are clearly over the top charges against President Bush to go unchallenged.

The media is to blame for preventing any honest discussion about race relations in this country because to be white and bring it up is to be instantly tarred with being “racist”.

The media is to blame for our current oil shortage, by giving more weight then they should to groups like the Sierra Club, and not enough balance on what these environmental laws are cost each of us.

The list is endless. Once the MSM decided that their role was to social engineers, and figured the Democrats were the party to do it, both were doomed. It has taken a long time, but the end is in sight for both, and I am not sure they even know it.

Time is not so far away when citizen reporters will be able to create and distribute local stories around the world. The future of “news” will be thousands of individuals (each with their own bias) reporting on events. It will be like herding cats to try and control them and what they report.

The truth about the Sierra Club’s successfully lobbying against a levee that might have saved the City of New Orleans will come out.

Huh.

Why am I not surprised?

"... the Main Stream Media supported them, unconditionally..."
You are so right. This will be written on their tombstone.

Maybe cause their homes were destroyed or they stayed to aid their own families
