The reporter for the Post seemed happy by this turn of events, almost acting like a cheerleader for the Jihadists. I guess the Post figures that the enemy of my enemy is my friend and we all know that liberals think Bush is the number one enemy.

The obverse of this coin is "The friend of my enemy is my enemy" This sorts out to mean that the Post is my enemy as is John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, The Associated Press, ad infinitum.
By giving comfort to the enemy, they become the enemy.
