Egads, he looks like Madonna, when she used to wear a tam.

Actually he was in the thick of things. He was there shooting a movie, actually I think it was pre-production, when the hurrucane hit. He probably is doing what little he can. He's a turd but not a complete sh!+bag like some people in Hollywood. Just a simply an everyday commie turd.

"one bystander taunted the actor: "How are you going to get any people in that thing?"

ROTFLMAO!

When he's done with the boat he can start workin' on the flooded areas!

Where would we be without Sean Penn? Would a world without Sean Penn be worth living in?

No, you're wrong. He's a king-size colostomy bag on wheels. All those praising him-just wait. He'll rip Bush a new area code...

I thought this was a prank or satire. Don't pass up reading this article. I've got coffee all over my monitor. Talk about the Keystone Cops. This is hilarious. I've read it a second time. I still think that it's legit.

I've always thought that Sean Penn was a jerk. But hey, he's there sweating it out in a boat, trying to do some good, maybe succeeding, maybe not. I'll give him credit for being there, and for trying to help.

At least until his next press conference...

As a good, doctrinaire liberal, he should be drilling a hole into the bottom of the boat in order to let the water out.

The best Hollywood has to offer.

Wonder what poor guardsman will be sent out to retrieve his drown dead carcass.

Must be a pathetic existence when actors or actresses realize that the only thing they are good for is walking around in front of a camera.

"Isn't that John Kerrys slogan?"

It's probably JK's boat. I really hope they didn't have to divert resources away from actual rescues to pull this nut out of the water!

If we could teach parrots to emote and make facial expressions Hollywood would go broke.

If they turn this "rescue" into a movie, "Dude, Somebody Stole My Bilge Pump" might be a good title.

If you are going to be rescued by a lib from the movies hope its Harrison Ford. He succeeded at least.

Im wondering why we only see a part of the pic. It is obvious that this is a clipped pic and that there should be more. What draws my interest is the hand holding the plastic/metal piece just to the right side of the pic. It appears a right foot is there also. From the position i would not be surprised if there was someone sitting on an edge of the boat with their left foot in the water pushing the boat along, and that they were only in a foot or two of water.

What does that look like to anyone else?
