Before last week, I didn't want to see the demise of the Democratic Party. As an idea, it provides a balance against bad ideas (in theory) that might come from our side of the fence, and it was what our Founders intended
Actually, George Washington advised against political parties, but they were inevitable,,,,and what a sad country this would be if we all thought alike,,,but I really wouldn't mind seeing the downfall of the dems, flipside is that a worse party might emerge,,,,actually, I could handle the green party or the libertarians---
Perhaps what takes its place would be more liberal, but we already know that the existing party is perfectly willing to commit crimes against humanity and sacrifice hundreds of thousands rather than take necessary but unpopular action.
This cannot be allowed to continue.
