Eventually, there will be construction jobs in that whole Gulf Coast area....which will be some good employment opportunites...
I just cannot imagine moving my family back to a city that is below sea level though...even if I were rich, it just seems stupid.
Plus the federal program to overhaul the levees will probably last past most of our lifetimes.
I don't think anyone will want to live in NO for a very, very long time if they have any other options, unless they Galveston it.
