Can someone put together a timeline of the corruption within the state over the past few years? Be sure to include Blanco's pathetic excuse for misappropriating $30 mil from FEMA, and include all the NO cops, too. We can't let THEM rebuild NO!!! And now the cops are going to Vegas??? I assume it's to relocate their 'operations' since Aspen would be a much better place to get some rest.
The civil unrest is a BIG part of the story, and the media, the DEMs, the governor, the mayor, and the MSM want to bury the fact that there was a tremendous amount of PREDICTABLE and PREDICTED civil unrest.

You do realize that the governor and mayor sat on their backsides all day Saturday instead of ordering a mandatory evacuation.

Their plan is pretty clear about what they did not do. Period. They knew this was a major storm on Friday, and they sat on their butts and did just about nothing.
Blanco and Nagin should be arrested for what they failed to do.
We don't need some table to tell us they failed to order an evacuation in time. They waited until Sunday Morning, and until after President Bush called to urge the mandatory Evacuation.
