TORONTO, Sept. 3 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will grace the Toronto skies in the Canadian International Airshow September 3, 4 and 5, with Toronto Harbour as the backdrop to their beautiful and thrilling show.
"We are delighted to perform in the Canadian International Airshow this weekend," said Major Ian McLean, commanding officer, Canadian Forces Snowbirds. "We always look forward to performing in this airshow, with so many Canadians present."
This year will mark the 33rd year that the Snowbirds have participated in the Canadian International Airshow.
The Snowbirds' 35-minute show includes more than 50 different formations and manoeuvres, including thrilling loops, exciting solo passes and beautiful 9-plane formations. The Snowbirds are dedicating the 9-Plane Line Abreast formation to all of Canada's veterans in honour of the Year of the Veteran.
The Snowbirds participate in about 65 airshows in 35 different locations during their show season.
The Snowbirds conducted one practice flight on Friday, September 2 and another on Saturday, September 3 in Toronto, following an 8-day operational pause. The Snowbirds were authorized to resume flying September 1, 2005.

I had the great fortune to see them some years ago in Mass. They were fantastic....a treat for all....
The Snowbirds are a first rate precision flying team.
