An MSNBC report earlier in the day said rescue helicopter personnel when they are lowered to rescue people, are finding drunk people, and people armed with guns. This report was by Ron Blum.
MSNBC says AP is reporting New Orleans police shot and killed 6 armed people on the Danzig (sp) bridge. The reporter said, "it is unclear, unclear at this point, whether the police were fired upon."
Even so, it's going to be hard to find justification for killing SIX people. This smells bad of overreaction.
say what you will about the incompetence of the NOPD..these guys must be the good guys..who else, after losing everything (as I assume they did) would still be on the job trying to get their city back? If they were fired on first, which I believe they had to be..I can't believe they'd just open up, and fired in self-defense..CNN still hasn't had additional info..just that several dead after being seen walking across the bridge holding guns..DANG I wish I had FOX at this hotel..
If they were armed and threatening the police or other citizens, then they got what was comin' to them. But why do some Freepers who hate when Blacks turn everything into a "Race Issue" turn everything into a race issue?
They are, and they have been since last week. FEMA personnel tried getting food and water to the convention center which seems to be the center of the media's evil propaganda only to be shot at by looters. They were forced to air drop and hope for the best. We don't see or hear this stuff from the mass media.
