Operation Hero update: New list, new event info for events on 9/4 through 9/13
Barking Moonabt sites | 4 Sept 05 | Me

Posted on 09/04/2005 10:53:17 AM PDT by Mr. Silverback

Operation Hero is a FREEPNORAD effort to defend our troops against attacks here on the homefront. Below is the schedule for the Sheehadi bus tours, and for anti-troop protests at soldiers' funerals by the satanic "church" of Fred Phelps. Below the Master schedule is all the event data I currently have. That's all I got folks, and there aint no more. Update threads will continue to appear as I gather more intel. I apologize for the realtively inconvenient master list format, but I haven't had time to compose a more user-friendly chronological version.

Please, please, make sure you counter these pukes, even the seemingly headline-challenged Sheehadis, if you can possibly do so. As the Freepers in Missouri found out yesterday, the troops are watching, and counterprotests are a major morale builder. You might even get to meet a hero or two!

One last note: Feel free to start separate threads to plan individual counterprotests. That works best; that way the Freepers from your area won't have to wade through a bunch of extraneous posts while planning.

Eagles up and give 'em hell!

I thought just in case anyone wants to call and voice your opposition to cindy's little hate tour here in Columbus you might like the phone numbers of the establishments who are hosting her here. They are....

Columbus Mennonite Church
35 Oakland Park Ave
COLUMBUS, OH 43214
614-784-9002

And...

First Unitarian Universalist Church
93 West Weisheimer Road
Columbus, OH 43214
http://www.firstuucolumbus.org
614-267-4946

Give them well, maybe just a piece of your mind will do.

God Bless America and Our Troops!

If you're talking about NYC, there's nothing yet. I would keep an eye on the local indymedia and other lefty sites, and the United for Peace and Justice calendar...the UFP&J calendar for NYC has so many events I can't even commit to posting and pinging them all, they do a very good job of getting stuff out early.

Will ping you the second I know anything new, but keep in mind that whoever is posting the stuff on the national site appears to be lagging a bit behind events...three times now Freepers have informed me of changes to their local event before I could ever have known about it from the national site or my media web searches...and each time the change has been to move things back a day because of events later in the tour.

I'm doing what I can, but even if I were perfect, you need to keep your local intel ears sharp on this one, because they're so bloody disorganized they couldn't screw with us worse if they were doing it on purpose.

Oh, and here's a bonus sign idea: Al-Qaeda agrees with Cindy!

Check this out! Heads Up!

http://www.nbc4i.com/news/4944411/detail.html>

They are having a benefit in Columbus tomorrow for the hurricane survivors right around the corner from the state house! There will be all kinds of media there at the benefit!

cindy's hate group is supposed to be at the state house. I'm wondering if cindy's hate group will try to crash the benefit for the media attention. Either way, there is going to be all kinds of media in down town Columbus tomorrow!

I wont be able to be there myself but I thought you all should know in advance of anything cindy's hate group might try to pull off to get media attention.
