Well worth reading, just for the grateful comment of a 105 year old lady alone. No log-in required.

Like a scene out of the Apocalypse.
I'm broadcast live in front of a pre-recorded studio audience.

The elderly and frail should have been the first to go and yet I still see them lined up waiting while busses are filled with able bodied young men. WTF

NOLA has been a great source to get current updates on what has/is happening in NO.
Read the section on finding relatives, friends, etc. It can be a jerker.

Just out of curiosity, how many people die in and around NO in a week's time? How many are murdered?

Better to endure squalor, thirst and starvation for a few days and live, than to die in the attic. I'll bet the vast majority of those stuck in the Dome and elsewhere believe that. The MSM will never report it.

"The first few days were a natural disaster. The last four days were a man-made disaster," said Phillip Holt, 51, who was rescued from his home Saturday with his partner and three of their aging Chihuahuas. They left a fourth behind they couldn't grab in time. They ran out of hair gel and Astroglide by the second day and it was hell on Earth.

Well worth reading, just for the grateful comment of a 105 year old lady alone. Her nurse wants nothing more than to get her somewhere so she can put her in a clean adult diaper.
I think there's something in my eye...

Last night Bill O'Reilly on the Factor, FOX, said that the good docs at Charity Hospital I think in St. Bernard's Parrish, were holed up on the 7th floor while looting was going on below. They were giving themselves IV's just to stay alive since they had nothing left to drink or eat as they desperately tried to save their patients.
O'Reilly had not heard from the doc that said he was going to try to call him during his show. He didn't. I'm wondering does anyone know about this situation?
