Seamole has that posted on the thread that I have the links to in post 311.

One very important difference between "seamoles" material and what I've posted on #103 this thread is that I've copied the material from the CURRENT NOLA WEBSITE: "City of New Orleans Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan" annex I: Hurricanes.

"seamoles" stuff is for generic evacuations: the material I'm quoting is Hurricane specific, and it's CURRENT!

Ah. I skim read and totally missed that. I'm cross posting your 103 over there now.

Thank you.

Here's an interesting article from Sept. 15th, 2004 when Hurrican Ivan approached the Gulf Coast:

New Orleans urges people to move to higher floors, or take shelter at the Superdome

http://web.abqtrib.com/archives/news04/091504_news_ivan1.shtml

"I think it's safe to say we will have flooding in this city," said Mayor Ray Nagin. However, he contradicted a statement from his emergency preparedness director that the city needed at least 10,000 body bags to handle possible drowning victims.

Vewy Vewy interesting...
