A larger question looms for me ...

WORLDWIDE how will the U.S. recover from the image of NOT being able to have a small CITY under control when disaster strikes, let alone a screwed up country like Iraq? Will the world be quick to help us when we don't even have our OWN people in a small city under control?

Those devastating pictures look like a third world country and the LOCAL leadership of the SAME MENTALITLY of third world countries. This is DEVESTATING in more ways than one.

Not long ago I read the history of the JOHNSTOWN FLOOD. Looters there were shot on sight and the newspapers reported that most of the looters were "Eastern Europeans, Italians and Hungarians".
One would think the newspapers were anti-Immigrant.

Actually, the US image around the world comes across as fantastic. Folks there haven't been waiting anxiously for rescue ~ to them, it's just more news.

So, here's what the funny little foreign people see ~ a large white soldier cradles a small black child as he is pulled out of the flood to safety in a helicopter.

You don't need any other image than that one. It puts the lie to all the propaganda peddled by the poverty pimps and their Democrat running dog lackeys.

From any point of view anywhere in the Third World, it all looks good!

The guy with the shot I just described is going to get some serious recognition. CNN, over its own usual editorial judgment, ran the picture. FOX had already done so.

It's pretty clear a large white guy is rescuing a tiny black child ~ and that's the way it is.
