I can't articulate how sad I am ... .

A larger question looms for me ...

WORLDWIDE how will the U.S. recover from the image of NOT being able to have a small CITY under control when disaster strikes, let alone a screwed up country like Iraq? Will the world be quick to help us when we don't even have our OWN people in a small city under control?

Those devastating pictures look like a third world country and the LOCAL leadership of the SAME MENTALITLY of third world countries. This is DEVESTATING in more ways than one.
